The business has developed an excellent reputation among the general contractors (GC) and is a preferred vendor resulting in the majority of their contracts evolving into negotiated work. They have also developed an excellent working relationship with suppliers allowing for quick supply turnaround. Approximately 95% of their business is concentrated in new commercial construction and tenant finish-out work, consisting of shopping centers, theaters, churches, office properties, etc. with very little multi-story. The remaining 5% of their work consists of industrial service, providing equipment removal and process piping.

This plumbing business has not solicited work from general contractors as they have the benefit of repeat business and referrals. They are a preferred vendor for many of the general contractors, therefore, they hard bid and get a preferred treatment.
