serving single family residential building companies in
the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. The company has developed an excellent reputation
with its clients and which has resulted in a constant
supply of contracts that can be increased on an "as
wanted" basis.
Workload and Book of Contracts Pending
The company is currently completing about 100 phases per
month (3 phases per house; rough-in, top-out, set
fixtures). The run-rate for recently completed phases is
approximately 1,000+ per year. This represents about 400 completed
homes. Current backlog of starts to be commenced
and completed over the next 3 years represents between
2000 and 3000 phases. Because of the company's reputation
for quality and dependability, more work is available.
Description of Staff
The
company has 31 non-union employees, most of
whom are full-time in the field at job sites. In
addition to the owner, the company has 8 crews average 3
men each, 1 warranty service technician, 1 warehouse
foreman, a master plumber (in office, job estimates,
assigns daily tasks of operations management, etc),
secretary (part-time), purchasing Director (he is also a
master plumber and assists with various business
management tasks), backhoe operator (mostly for
rough-ins).
